really fun to play once i figured out what exactly to do and that i maybe shouldn't have unequipped the harpoon^^ ups.

i was confused first because i didn't knew that oxygen and "life" is the same... i thought the fish can't harm me. but they can. after unlocking everything i'm feeling filthy rich and the opening of the gold eggs is not as fun anymore as it was at the beginning.

Solid. Seems like a good bet for a full release if you can make it quickly.

Definately good potential and giving off brotato vibes!

i think that the deep sea theme has a lot more potential than what this demo shows. for example it could be that you are not locked in to a static area but rather that you can actually keep swimming down to reach new depth and more dangerous enemies. then you would have to balance gearing up vs reaching going down.

also i think it needs a tighter game loop. right now it feels kind of grindy but without purpose. and some meta progression! maybe keep the skill tree unlocked or at least visible over different runs and then you need to chose a strategy of upgrading while diving deeper idk.

i didnt quite get the gatcha appeal and in the end ended up just  having gazillions of eggs that i needed to spam click to open. that was not particulary fun.

Oh man, I have to stop myself from playing, this is addictive!

Such a good loop, once one gets the hang of it.

Two improvements:

  • initially I thought I need to come up to regain oxygen, before I understand that's part of the loop to run out of oxygen
  • blood from fish mostly seem to spawn at top left, instead of the fish's position

It’s the classic upgrade-and-go-again game in a new skin. I have to admit, I spent longer playing than anticipated.

cool idea, but somehow doesn't feel very involving as you are not shooting after clicking a button, feels strange

good idea but very barebones right now, needs some more fleshing out

I purchased the 3rd weapon slot upgrade but didn't see it so I refreshed the page and lost all progress .-.

The play/upgrade loop is very classic, but still very addictive. The tech tree is very well implemented, congrats!

Ouch! No local saving is really a punch in the gut after coming back to this after investing some time.

You need more feedback on the Eggacha screen, because after unlocking it, players are going to visit it and get confused as to why it's blank. Also when there are eggs, some text instructing the user to select / repeatedly click would be nice.

Same for the Aquarium: if there are no fish, explain how to get them, and explain that dragging fish to the slots gives bonuses.

Agreed regarding the eggs, it wasn’t until I "finished the demo" that I noticed there were new tabs in the top left and started using the eggs/fish to help get the remaining few upgrades.

Maybe a magnet upgrade could be cool ( for grab bone fish from further )
